Branding – The differentiation and export advantage of Viet agricultural products

(Hanoi, June 5) At the Economic Forum for Agriculture, several speakers emphasized the importance of adding value to the Viet agriculture products. Specifically, although Viet products are recognized globally in terms of supply, branding is still not our strength. As Mr Tran Thanh Hai has identified, in any kind of investment, including agriculture, how we run the business plays an important role, just as the importance of capital. “If we do not focus on differentiating our products, we will eventually lose our export advantage. Therefore, besides market analysis and R&D, enterprises also need to focus on marketing, branding and packaging for their products, to improve profits when exporting to the global market”, said Tran.
